Position Summary:
We are looking for a board-certified Radiologic Technologist to work part-time, focusing on musculoskeletal imaging to support our orthopedic specialists. This role involves guiding patients through the imaging process, capturing high-quality diagnostic images, and understanding provider-specific imaging preferences to facilitate accurate and timely care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-rays imaging studies, primarily focused on musculoskeletal issues.
- Escort patients to and from imaging rooms, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Ensure imaging quality meets the specific requirements and preferences of each provider.
- Maintain high standards of image quality and accuracy.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Radiologic Technology and/or board certification in Radiology.
- Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced orthopedic practice.
- Experience with orthopedic imaging is preferred.
Schedule:
- Part-time hours; schedule can be discussed to align with the needs of the practice and the technologist’s availability.
