Visit was quick, safe and efficient

When I turned 60 I was in constant pain in my knees and hips. I had difficulty walking, and lost almost all of my flexibility. I was convinced I had bad knees. An MRI of knees showed some damage but Dr. Bassett determined that the knee pain was caused by my damaged hips. Most of my cartilage was worn out. In 2019 Dr. Bassett replaced both hips (4 months apart). Both surgeries were a huge success. I spent one night at the hospital after each surgery and was walking with a walker a few hours after surgery. I am now pain free in my knees and hips and have the flexibility I had 30 years ago. I am able to do the activities I used to take for granite. Due to increased activity and watching my diet I’ve lost 25 pounds. Dr. Simonson and his staff have always treated me with professionalism and courtesy. For my particular condition he has recommended the whole spectrum of treatments available from conservative management to surgical options.
