Dr. Simonson is a superb surgeon. He takes the time to answer questions and explains things in understandable ways. He is also friendly and personable.

Dr. Simonson was a referral from the VA. The visits went fairly quickly. I went in, received x-rays and Dr. S went over the x-rays and took the time to answer all of my questions. When I needed specific paperwork for my job, I told him what I needed and received it as I prepared to leave the office.

Very helpful and informative in my questions to him about my medical situation.

The staff at Granite Orthopedics are wonderful. I've alway liked Dr. Simonson but believe the first surgery he performed on my left foot left a lot to be desired. I think a ligament was stretched too far and now my big toe curls under the other toes on that foot causing me a lot of pain. Now I've been told the only way to correct this is by fusing the joints in the upper part of the foot. I'd rather have the toe amputed than go through a partial arthrodesis.

Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable and highly qualified Explained everything and listened. He did not rush me through.
