They lie about the cost of knee injections. They tell you $450 when it is actually closer to $1200. The medicine is $450, the cost to give the injections is about $600 and there us a $200 office call. That totals in rough numbers $1250. Their response when I complained is the $450 portion isn't covered by insurance. So the true answer to the question, "how much does this cost" is $450 plus whatever portion of the additional $850 isn't covered by your insurance and they know this but they continue to be deceptive.March 14, 2022

Called Monday, March 8 2022 with major pain, weakness after a coughing spell 2 months post op. Person who answered the phone took my details, hung up. Two hours later, I called back in even worse state. Told person who answered (same woman) , it had happened the night before, I had increasing pain and was unable to walk. She told me Dr. Bassett had appointments all day and may be able to call later in the day, again MAY be able to call. I will not relate what she told me in my increasing pain. I hung up, called my doctor and a friend to take me to ER. Upshot; major hematoma and internal bleeding, tear in my soas muscle. Literally would have bleed out waiting for Dr. Bassett’s call. Still in hospital (YRMC) Friday night, I may be home by Sunday. Think very carefully before you call these doctors.March 12, 2022
