Dr. Evan Simonson was very knowledgeable and answered my many (and I mean many) questions with clear detailed explanations about chemo induced drop foot, surgical options, and therapeutic options. He listened to my concerns and explanations of how and when the drop foot occurred, my current functionality, and how I was progressing with regard to therapy, a new brace, and plans to improve my gait. No surgical decisions were made but I now know what surgery would involve, most notably recover and therapy. The information he provided will help me when deciding the next steps to take. I also appreciate Dr. Simonson's respect and consideration for the fact that I was masked. I always mask in enclosed areas due to ongoing cancer treatments. Dr. Simonson started to enter the examination room then backed out. I wondered for a second, then quickly, without any questions, he returned wearing a mask. When the time arrives, I will consult with him again.May 15, 2024
